Orb Networks Announces Worldwide Free Streaming Media Access To Digital Content

Additionally, Orb announced its first international edition with a beta release of a French language version. The Company will deliver additional language releases of its streaming media service over the next few months.

The global availability of Orb comes a week after Orb Networks eliminated subscription fees for its service. This provides consumers around the world with FREE, spontaneous mobile access to their music, photos, videos, webcams and other digital content located on their home PC from virtually any Internet-enabled device.

Orb Networks is currently establishing business relationships with providers of television guide data in many countries, including France, Japan and Great Britain, that will allow users to stream live TV - for free. Until then, the Orb TV feature is only available in the United States.

For the first time ever, users everywhere will have spontaneous access to their digital world, said Jim Behrens, CEO, Orb Networks. This is the first phase of our international expansion as we look to connect the entire world to the personal digital home media locked in their PC. Our U.S.-based customers experience the mobile freedom to access all of their digital photos, MP3 music files, Webcams and saved videos. It's time to bring that service and innovation to the rest of the world.

The beta of the French language edition is available to download now from anywhere in the world at http://www.orb.com/francais for customers with Windows XP operating system or Windows XP Media Center Edition. After a quick installation, customers are ready to use any Internet-connected device to view digital photos, videos, Webcams or listen to MP3 music files stored on their home PC.
