Orb Networks Streaming Media Solution Demonstrations To Be Held At CTIA Wireless 2005


EMERYVILLE, Calif., March 9, 2005 - Orb Networks, Inc., a developer of streaming media software and services, today announced that Microsoft, Lucent Technologies, and Airvana, Inc. will conduct live demonstrations of Orb's groundbreaking streaming media solution at the CTIA Wireless 2005 conference held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, March 14 - 16, 2005.

Orb's streaming media software solution, Orb Media, provides a simple way for consumers to spontaneously access their live TV, music, videos, photos and other digital content located on their home PC from virtually any Internet-enabled device, from anywhere in the world. Orb's intuitive solution simply streams a user's content from their home PC to the Web browser and player on their cell phone, PDA, or notebook allowing customers to create their own "personal media portal."


Live Orb Media demonstrations at CTIA Wireless 2005 can be seen in booths #3565 (Microsoft), #2245 (Lucent Technologies), and #953 (Airvana).
