Orb Partners with Paris-Based Wireless Broadband Service Provider

EMERYVILLE, Calif., July 19, 2005 - Orb Networks, Inc., a developer of streaming media software and services, and Ozone, a wireless broadband provider based in Paris, France, today announced a partnership to offer Orb's free, award-winning streaming media service to Ozone customers. Ozone will offer Orb to their subscribers as an extension of their services, which gives their subscribers spontaneous access to all of their digital media, including music, videos, photos, and live TV, through any Internet-connected device. Orb will be available to Ozone subscribers beginning in September.

Based on the latest advancements in mesh networking infrastructure, Ozone has developed a "Pervasive Network", which gives Ozone customers access to a symmetrical high speed wireless network, at any time using any device, anywhere in Paris. This is an ideal environment for customers who wish to access their digital media via Orb.

"This is a powerful partnership because of the synergy between Orb's and Ozone's offerings," said Rafi Haladjian, founder and CEO of Ozone and former founder of FranceNet "Orb adds the personal element to our vision to deliver continuous connectivity to our subscribers. With this partnership, Ozone users will always be able to enjoy their digital content anywhere, anytime on any device."

Ozone's Pervasive Network is a metro-area wi-fi solution for Paris, France, which Ozone plans to expand throughout France over the next six to twelve months. Available everywhere at anytime, the Pervasive broadband infrastructure enables the provision of bandwidth capacity for data networking, symmetrical high-speed Internet access, voice over Wi-Fi, e-business applications and multimedia services.

"Ozone's Pervasive network is cutting edge technology and we are very excited about our new partnership. They have built a powerful wireless network in Paris that is ideal for the Orb service," said Jim Behrens, CEO of Orb Networks. "By partnering with Ozone, we are able to bring the Orb service to Internet-savvy users that can make use of our French version of Orb."

This partnership is part of Orb's expanding global reach. In addition to French, Orb, is also available in English, German, Korean, Japanese and traditional Chinese.

Orb Media Overview
Orb Networks' software and service provides a simple way for consumers to spontaneously access their live TV, music, photos, videos and other digital content located on their home PC from virtually any Internet-enabled device, from anywhere in the world. Orb's intuitive solution simply streams a consumer's own content from their home PC to the Web browser and player on a cell phone, PDA, or notebook, creating their own personal media portal. Consumers also have the capability to remotely record TV programs using Orb's Digital Video Recorder (DVR) function and then view those recorded programs at any time on any of their mobile devices.

Orb Networks' technology is based upon a elegant, robust and scalable architecture. A user simply opens a Web browser on any device, logs-in and selects what they want to view or hear from their personal library. Orb takes care of the rest. Orb's technology determines the best format, codec, bit rate, display capabilities, and network bandwidth available for a particular cell phone, PDA or laptop to view or hear the content. The media is streamed securely and directly from the user's home PC to the user's device to provide fast mobile media access.
